For someone whose interests include luxury watches, custom suits, and racing teams— Brian Poe-Llamanzares’ 30th birthday party held last April 8 at Manila House looked like a scene straight out of a Bond movie.

The mission, which everyone chose to accept, was “to celebrate Brian, who has impacted our lives one way or another,” says Faye Abrihan— one of the celebrant’s closest confidants, and COO of Oracle Media Group.

The party went smoothly unshaken and unstirred, held by Aika Events, a subsidiary of Jerik Santos’ A3 group and Alike Media, with the support of Porsche Design Manila, as pre-2015 music blasted throughout the night. Brian, who doesn’t celebrate his birthday often, shares that, “It was heartwarming to see everyone at the party— this is really for them. I was really celebrating the friends, family, and business partners that helped me get to where I am today. I wanted to thank everyone for being there for me through the years and show them a glimpse of how epic the years to come will be.”

In an act of secret service, he’s also quietly donated a thousand pesos for every guest in attendance— money which was used to buy air-conditioning units for the National Children’s Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Real stories. Real people.
We believe that life isn’t about a binary of ones and zeros – but about the sum of our hopes and dreams, our struggles and heartaches, our tragedies and triumphs.
The things that unite us are far stronger than the things that divide us.
And those stories are why we are alike.
