Congratulations are in order for TV personality and model Isabelle Daza who just gave birth to a baby boy. This is her first child with husband and French businessman Adrien Semblat, whom she married in Italy back in 2016. She announced her pregnancy back in September 2017 and has been vocal about it ever since.
Throughout the months leading up to the birth, Daza was completely open about her pregnancy, sharing on interviews and on her social media about the hardships she experienced. She also wasn’t afraid to show off her baby bump, wearing form-fitting clothes, frequently posting selfies on her Instagram, and even posing nude for a photo shoot earlier in March.
Although her confidence has gotten her in a bit of a controversy—namely when she was recorded dancing crazily during Anne Curtis’s wedding reception while pregnant—she remained headstrong in living out her life the way she did prior to her pregnancy. She didn’t listen to her critics (and her mother). She was still modelling and she remained her true, lively self at numerous social gatherings. Her actions showed that even though a woman is pregnant, her life doesn’t have to stop all at once. In fact, she exemplified what has become the norm for many of today’s millennial mothers—leading an active lifestyle even while pregnant.
Moments before giving birth, she teased her fans on her Instagram stories with a photo of pink balloons, implying it was a girl. Both Daza and Semblat preferred not to know their baby’s gender beforehand, so no one knew if it was going to be a boy or a girl. However, after the baby was born, Daza posted that it was a boy and that the photo suggesting otherwise was just an April Fool’s joke.
It’s been an eventful nine months for Daza, who’s been one of the most active celebrities during her pregnancy. Now that she has a new baby boy to take care of, she gets to add a new role to her impressive résumé—mommy!
