Conrad Manila has announced the appointment of Rupert Hallam as its new General Manager, effective January 2026, as the luxury hotel marks its 10th anniversary year. Hallam brings over 30 years of global hospitality leadership experience, including more than two decades with Hilton, to lead the 347-room waterfront property overlooking Manila Bay.
A seasoned hospitality executive, Hallam is recognised for his strong commercial acumen, operational expertise, and people-focused leadership. He most recently served as General Manager of Hilton Singapore Orchard, the brand’s largest hotel in Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he held the role of Vice President of Sales for Hilton Asia Pacific, where he played a key role in shaping regional commercial strategies and strengthening customer partnerships.

Hallam will be joined by Hotel Manager Akshat Sinha, a Hilton team member since 2008, who most recently served as Hotel Manager at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. These leadership appointments reinforce Conrad Manila’s commitment to continuity, strategic growth, and excellence across its core pillars, including business travel and meetings, culinary innovation, and elevated guest experiences.
