From the critically-acclaimed and successful runs in 2017 and 2018, BoxStage Manila – the alumni organization of FEU Theater Guild (FTG), brings us back to the magical island to #ExperienceEsteban this February.
“Ang Pinakamakisig sa mga Nalunod sa Buong Daigdig” is a musical adaptation of Gabriel Garcia-Marquez’ The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World.
Directed by Dudz Terana, written by Risa Jopson, music by Jeff Hernandez, and music direction by Jesus Singh III, the musical will run on Feb 5-7 and 12-15 at the PCC Center Studio, Ground Floor, Engineering Building, FEU Manila.

“Ang Pinakamakisig sa mga Nalunod sa Buong Daigdig” follows the lives of the inhabitants of a desolate island, living uninteresting lives and desperately tries to break the monotony of their existence. One day, the Pipi, comes across a dead body that was washed ashore. She panicked and tried to inform the other residents, but no one paid attention to her until the Ipokrita finally saw what she was pointing at, buried in the sand. This discovery filled the town with dread, fear, and disgust, instigating fights and commotion among the people in the island.

As part of Dudz Terana’s decade-long leadership in the FTG, the cast, who are now proud alumni of the organization, have independently produced the musical, with the goal of giving back, passing on the legacy, and committing their lives to the practice of art.

In partnership with FEU Theater Guild and FEU’s President Committee on Culture (PCC), the FTG alumni embark on another journey back to the magical island, Isla Esteban.
Isla Esteban is open on the following dates:
February 5-7, 2020, 6:30pm
February 12-14, 2020, 6:30pm
February 15, 2020, 3pm and 7pm
