While we all can’t wait for what President Rodrigo Duterte has to say for this year’s State of the Nation’s address, it’s also a joy to spot the best dressed among the personalities of Sandiganbayan’s red carpet.
As the week started, politics’ fashion statements were the talk of the town. And why wouldn’t it be? From hand-painted protest barongs to Mak Tumang statement pieces, the event was a celebration of all kinds of style—whether it’s a look you’d want to cop or beg its wearers to drop.
Pia Cayetano wears a Michael Leyva barong top and pants as she goes back to work in the Senate. Her black-and-white outfit was accentuated with a belt made with Yakan fabric.
