The work week has just ended. We’ll totally understand if you’re running out of social energy and just want to be at home. Gone are those days that being a home body means being bored and lonely. Luckily, this universe has gifted us with this indoor rollercoaster for our emotions -- Netflix!
Well, this Netflix thing is just like our annoyingly materialistic officemate that never runs out of new releases. The only difference is that on Netflix, we willingly keep up and cooperate!
Here are some of the new Netflix series we’ll absolutely love to binge-watch this weekend:

Okay, many finished watching this since it was released. But hey, it’s still trending! This is about the paranormal experiences of Hugh and Olivia Crain, along with their five children – Steven, Shirley, Theodora, Luke, and Eleanor. Everything happened in the summer of 1992 when this family had to be in Hill House while their mansion’s renovations were ongoing. Little did they know their supposedly short stay would result in tragedy that they couldn’t get over with even after twenty six years.

This award-winning show is back for its final season. In case you missed it, House of Cards’ lead star, Kevin Stacey, was fired due to alleged sexual assault cases. Because of this, the House of Cards series had no choice but to be on break. Well, the long wait is completely over. This time, Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, is the new U.S. president. We’ll love how she shows the extremes of girl power by fighting against former allies and new enemies.

American comedian, actor, host, and writer Hasan Minhaj takes the spotlight every Sunday and we can’t complain. His thoughts and arguments on global affairs and culture are nothing short of deep and incredible. And oh, he tells these in his uniquely comedic voice. No wonder, this series has been getting the critics’ approval. On its premiere, it got 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This second season of The Sinner won’t disappoint. Julian just killed his parents and Detective Harry Ambrose searches for answers as to why this 11-year-old boy would do that. This must be a secret along with the town’s past. But then, as we all know, secrets reveal themselves in due time. And hey, we need to mention the peculiar Vera is also a must-watch.

We don’t know about you but we can’t stop hearing everyone talking about this half-human, half-witch Sabrina. It’s definitely not easy to be Sabrina as she confronts the internal struggle of having her dual nature. Of course, there must be the evil forces that will make her life and her world more difficult to be in. The more you think the premise is too simple, the more you need to watch this to think again. This is a coming-of-age story that has the horror and the occultism.
Which of these will be your Netflix favorite this weekend?
