Jayda Avanzado is in the business of doing music. You can say she got it from her parents, singer-songwriters Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado, but like any other artist trying to make a name for themselves, Jayda is moving along with the hustle.
“I think there’s a certain amount of pressure, but honestly I’m up for the challenge and I just use that as a motivation to keep getting better as an artist,” the 16-year-old solo singer said.
At the launch of JBL’s newest products, Jayda performed a couple of her original songs, including “Breathless” and “Text.” Aside from revealing their newest products, the PartyBox 100 and PartyBox 1000 and wireless earphones called Tune 120, JBL announced their search for a new muse is over. The brand said Jayda perfectly represented their market of young music lovers and active lifestyle enthusiasts.
“I like to keep moving—dancing, working out, and, of course, creating music,” Jayda shared. “I’m on the broad spectrum of OPM, I would say. I’m definitely heavy in pop—synth pop. I also want to delve into becoming a singer-songwriter. Honestly I’m open to any genre, I don’t necessarily want to restrict myself.”
“You should listen to Jayda’s ‘You’ll Be Mine’ on Spotify! I’m such a fan of her music,” fellow JBL ambassador Gretchen Ho revealed. “I have collaborated with an artist from Indonesia, so please check that out as well,” the singer added.
