Canon introduces 2 new cameras to love

June 25, 2019 – Vinz Lamorena

In the digital age, everyone is capable of taking pictures. In fact, almost everybody conveniently has a camera in the palm of their hands. Documenting memories and creating content are easily done with the simple point-and shoot-method of their smartphones.

But for those who want to take content creation up a notch, Canon introduces their line’s newest DSLR designed for everyday photography. The 200D II has all the DSLR upgrades covered: Wi-Fi pairing, vari-angle and touchscreen LCD screen, and a built-in editing system.

It’s the lightest and most affordable entry-level DSLR camera option out there with 24.1 megapixels and a wide ISO range of 100 to 25,600. Not only that, it also enables its users to capture videos in 4K quality. It’s definitely a camera to consider for those who wish to start vlogging or learn the basics of videography with the high-definition video quality it provides. You can also record time-lapse clips in 4K with this camera, or take video clips with a creative filter preset.

The 200D II is made for any kind of lifestyle and adventure. It’s compact and weighs less than 500 grams, although its light built feels cheaper than standard. The camera is available in black, white, and silver.

Canon also rolled out their own versions of the instant camera called the iNSPiC series. The first one out the market was the iNSPiC [P], which is described as “the perfect smartphone companion for mobile printing.” This pocket-sized instant printer gives you smudge-proof and tear-resistant photographs in just a few seconds. All you have to do is hook it up to your phone and curate and edit your photos on the Canon Mini Print app.

Meanwhile, the iNSPiC [C] dares to be more ambitious. This mini camera immediately prints out the photos you take. It pretty much works like most film cameras where you’re not quite sure how things will come out—just a word of caution, some takes might come out blurred with its lack of an image-stabilizing feature. But, hey, you can’t pack so much in a credit card-sized gadget. At least it comes with a tiny flash, a selfie mirror, and is rechargeable.

The best of them all has to be the iNSPiC [S]. Both the features of [P] and [C] are available in this instant camera, allowing you to shoot and print while on the move. And did we mention in comes in a gorgeous rose gold color, too? All iNSPiC photos are printed on Canon’s ZINK photo paper which comes with an adhesive back for easy journaling. Each ZINK cartridge allows you to print 20 photographs.
