A well traveled girl with a picture perfect beauty, Patricia Henson is indeed an upcoming digital ‘it’ girl. With her large following, a lot of young Filipinos look up to her as she conquers the digital world with her creative outlook and content as an influencer.

At a first glance, Patricia Henson may have it all, but as she shares with us, the true version of her is beyond her Instagram perfect life.

What are the three things you’re utterly passionate about?

“Photography, travel, and art. With my job now, I am able to pursue photography and art everyday whenever I conceptualize and work with a camera. With art as an illustration, I haven’t done an artwork for a year because everything has been going so fast. But it is something I’d like to get back into, that’s why I always bring my sketchbook around. Traveling, on the other hand, is important to me as it is something that I do to let things go and breathe. I am able to tackle my love for photography, travel and art through social media influencing and creating a brand for myself.”

What keeps you grounded amidst your career and following?

“What makes me sane is my family and a small group of friends who truly know me for me. They remind me of who I am and they give me their most honest opinions. Of course, another thing that keeps me sane is the beach. You can just leave me there. It reminds me that I don’t have to own all these material things -- especially with what I do now, I am surrounded by it and its overwhelming. So whenever I come to the beach, no matter where it is, it reminds me that this is where I want to be.”

How do you see this chapter of your life and what title would you give it?

“Going back to the things I know – it is how I remind myself that before all the hardships, heartaches, and the negativity, I was fine before that and I have to remember that life is good no matter what and I can always pick myself back up. It is going back to what makes me feel alive. It makes me feel safe going back because you’ll never feel comfortable when you take time to get to know who you are. Once you’re sure of yourself and know how to handle situations, the next time those things come around, you’ll be able to handle it better.”

Who is Patricia Henson beyond Instagram?

“ Patricia Henson is creative, easy going, and a lover of travel and adventure. She loves the simple joys in life and meeting new people. She believes in honesty, she believes in people, and in giving a hundred percent in everything that she does. Life is not a race, at the end of the day what truly matters is staying true to who you are.”

With her present fast paced life, once in a while Patricia goes back to what she knows to remind herself of who she really is. Before there was Instagram and the digital ‘it’ girl, there’s was always a version of her that remains grounded and true.
